Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons who wish to train as secondary school teachers in the following programmes:

COMMERCIAL STUDIES (2 Years)

Entry Requirements: 5 '0' levels including English language and Mathematics and the subject of study. 'A' level pass in Accounts +a pass, in any other Commercial subject at 'A' level.

GEOGRAPHYand Environmental Science (2 Years)

Entry Requirements: 5 '0' levels including English language and Mathematics and the subject of study. 'A' level pass in Geography +a pass in any other 'A' level Subject.

MATHEMATICS (2 Years)

Entry Requirements: 5 '0' levels including English language and Mathematics and the subject of study. 'A' level pass in Mathematics + a pass in any other 'A' level Subject.

Belvedere Technical Teachers' College

Belvedere Technical Teachers College was founded in 1982 as the only technical teachers training college in Zimbabwe. The first intake of the college started at Seke Teachers’ College and then moved to the current site of Belvedere suburb in 1983. It was built on the former Harare airport on twenty-one hectares of land overlooking the sacred National Heroes Acres. The core business of the college is training science, Tech/Voc teachers and personnel for industry.
