OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT AND CABINET PRESIDENTIAL AND NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS CALL FOR 2022/2023 REGISTRATION
The Office of the President and Cabinet has announced presidential and national scholarships. The notice issued by Dr Kachere the Director of the OPC Scholarships:
The Presidential and National Scholarships Department in the Office of the President and Cabinet invites applicants to register with the Department for Scholarships nomination for the 2022/2023 academic year. The registration process targets able but disadvantaged talented and academically gifted qualifying students mainly in rural areas in the remote districts of the country’s ten (10) Provinces, intending to pursue undergraduate studies at foreign universities and Post-Graduate students must have at least an Upper Second degree Classification for studies in the following disciplines:

How To Apply
For the registration process. candidates should satisfy the following criteria:
- Undergraduates should have a minimum of ten (10) points at ‘A-Level’ in subjects relevant to the chosen degree programme.
- Undergraduates for Science and Technology disciplines should have either A or B in relevant ‘A-Level Science subjects.
- For Master’s and PhDs, applicants must have at least an Upper Second Class Degree classification in the relevant field of study. Master’s applicants should be below 35 years of age, and PhD applicants should be below 45 years of age by 31 January 2023.
For registration, interested candidates should present the following:
- COPY of bio-data page of a VALID PASSPORT or PROOF OF AN APPLICATION for a passport,
- Application letter specifying the preferred undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme in the area of study of one’s own choice. Give at least 2 choices.
- Motivation letter (giving the applicant’s background and justification on why one is worthy of being nominated),
- Two reference letters, each from different persons or institutions,
- Copies of certified ‘A” Level and ‘0’ Level certificates,
- Copies of certified degree certificates and transcripts in the case of Master’s and PhD candidates,
- Copies of certified Birth and I.D. Certificates,
- CV, which clearly shows your District of origin as shown on Birth Certificate or National Identification Card and at least three functioning contact phone/cell numbers,
- Registration documents that meet the deadline and above requirements are valid until 31 January 2023.
- The closing date is 08 July 2022

- Applications submitted through third parties will not be accepted.
- Applications may be submitted through courier services or registered mail to the above address.
- Do not be entertained by unauthorized Officials at applications collection centres or leave your documents without signing for them.
- Physical applications may be submitted in person from 04 July 2022 to 08 July 2022 during working hours at the following centers:
