Harare City Council Closes Some Major Roads Temporarily

The City of Harare has closed a number of roads to facilitate the installation of street lights.

In a public notice, Harare City Council acting Town Clerk Engineer Phakamile Moyo said motorists who use the targeted roads should seek alternative routes. He said:

Proposed temporary closure for supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of street lights infrastructure at the following site: Corner 7th Street from Corner Samora Machel to Churchill on September 15 to Saturday, September 24.

Kenneth Kaunda to Samora Machel from 27 September 2022 to 10 October 2022.

Samora Machel corner Rekai Tangwena-Enterprise Road from 29 September to 15 October 2022.
