The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has said it is consulting the government over fuel prices, therefore, the review of prices for the week beginning today, 28 March 2022, will be delayed. In a notice, seen by Pindula News, ZERA also advised operators to continue using prevailing prices. We present the notice below:
PETROLEUM PRICES – WEEK 28 MARCH 2022
The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) continues to monitor fuel prices in the market and provide regular updates to all stakeholders.
The Authority is currently in consultation with Government and the industry, therefore prices for week beginning 28 March 2022 will be delayed. Fuel operators are advised to continue using the prevailing price.
The blending ratio remains at E0. Operators may sell the petroleum products below the prescribed prices depending on their trading advantages and should display prices in a prominent place as provided for by the fuel pricing regulations.
Stakeholders are advised that the petroleum price releases by ZERA can be verified on the official ZERA website, Facebook or Twitter handle.
