Former Manchester City midfielder, Yaya Toure, is reportedly on the verge of joining Tottenham Hotspur as a coach.
Toure is currently working with Tottenham, and is set to take a full-time role.
He is said to be working with age-group teams at Tottenham. It is thought the club will soon announce his arrival on to the club’s full-time staff.
Yaya left Etihad in 2019 amid reports that he was not in good books with coach Pep Guardiola.
During that time, he claimed that the Spanish coach had a problem with African players.
They had once worked together at Barcelona during which the duo also had a bitter relationship which allegedly pushed Yaya to leave for England.
The former Ivory Coast skipper has since apologised to Pep and some observers believe he is just doing it to create peace between him and Guardiola.
