Former Information Minister Chris Mushohwe Has Died

The former Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Christopher Chindoti Mushohwe has died. Mushohwe died on Monday, 13 February aged 69.

Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Ministry permanent secretary Ndavaningi Mangwana announced Mushohwe’s death on Twitter. He said:

We have lost the former minister of information Dr. Chris Mushohwe. May His Soul Rest In Peace.

No further information was provided about his death.

Mushohwe was the Minister of Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment before being reassigned to the Ministry of information in 2015.

He previously held the positions of resident minister and governor of Manicaland.

Mushohwe was also a former Minister of State in the President’s Office Responsible for National Scholarships.
