Warriors “super fan” Alvin “Aluvah” Zhakata has given an update on his health after he collapsed at a hotel in Yaounde, Cameroon.
In a post on Twitter this Sunday, Zhakata complained of fatigue, lethargy and low blood pressure. He said:
Feeling fatigued and lethargic. Blood pressure reading as low as 77/43. Low spirits too. Guys, I’m not well today.
Zhakata has been in Cameroon since 9 January attending the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals.
He reportedly collapsed after the Malawi and Morocco Round of 16 match and was ferried to a hospital where doctors diagnosed him with a heart condition.
Zhakata became famous when he travelled from Cape Town to Cairo by road to watch the 2019 AFCON finals in Egypt.
