A restructuring committee was appointed by the Gerald Mlotshwa-led SRC was appointed to oversee the process of restoring sanity to Zimbabwean football.

But FIFA refused to acknowledge the Banda-led administration, insisting that the only condition for the sanction on Zimbabwe to be lifted, is the unconditional reinstatement of Kamambo.

The SRC however  insists getting the ban lifted is not the priority.

France-based Warriors midfielder /Marshall Munetsi has been the most outspoken footballer concerning the effects of the ban, which has seen all national teams missing out on international competitions.
