Receptionist (Harare)

Job Description

Kutsaga Research, a globally recognized centre for scientific excellence, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Receptionist. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience, as well as superior interpersonal, and leadership skills.

The incumbent will report to the Head of Human Resources.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manning the Reception
• Receive and assist walk-in clients.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Provide administrative support via phone.
• Transferring calls as necessary.
• Taking and ensuring messages are passed to the appropriate staff member in time.
• Managing meeting room availability.
• Provides Administrative Services
• Scheduling appointments.
• Receiving, sorting, distributing and dispatching daily mail.
• Maintaining safety and hygiene standards in the reception area.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Secretarial or equivalent.
• Should have 5 „o‟ levels including English.
• At least 3 years‟ experience as a receptionist.
• Good communication skills.
• Exceptional - Customer service skills.
• Dependability.
• Organized.
• Attentive to detail.
• Experience on switchboards, with the ability to answer and manage multiple lines.
